The DeskShare][ENGINE
is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL), and therefore it can be integrated quickly and
easily into your existing program. The corresponding programming interface
(API) includes only a few functions so that developers can integrate the engine
into own applications in a very short time.
The engine essentially offers the same features as DeskShare//Client
but it allows a stronger integration into own applications. Thus, for example,
the normal program title ("DeskShare") which appears in the head line of all
windows and dialogs can be replaced by the name of your product or your
company. Furthermore, the engine allows the specific activation of the remote
control mode or the deactivation of the desktop filter so that, for example, a
customer computer can directly be operated after the connection establishment.
